Capisce Dec. of Independence Ten Commandments ilovebees

While CAPitALLism influenced ilovebees in ways inherently opposite of Queen Microsoft, ARGers saw things in another light.

While in-game, Ilovebees was an exciting adventure whose real time payoffs were shared together with other human beings. And Queen Microsoft? The ilovebees puppet masters behind the curtain (most likely the same team who had created The Beast) were actually a far removed subsidiary company (Bungie) bought out by Microsoft. Besides, the more advertising power the ARG had, the more fans it would attract, and the more exciting its experience. I learned one key point: ARGers cared little for the ultimate sponsor of the game, but for the experience of the game itself.

It is the logic of one who cares not for why the war is fought, but for the love of fighting. Of scientists who care not for the application of their discoveries, but for the process of discovery. Of company employees who care not for who employs them, but for the act of taking home a paycheck and living a decent life.

It is the logic that regulates the hive. Everyday people focus on their individual micro-concerns (which are privately important and heroic in the scope of Campbell's The Hero with a Thousand Faces) while the powers-that-be (so as long as there may be powers) with their own micro-concerns script others into cycles that flux between salvation and oblivion.

How, when our lives are spent infinitely focusing on the micro, can we ensure the macro-issues are taken care of automatically? How to minimize the mud-flinging splash of wild nature?
